The Worst State.
First of all, I'm sorry I haven't written on here in such a long time. I feel like nothing much is happening in our lives right now, but that never stopped me before. Anyway, after a week of junking for a friend of the family, which was an entirely new experience for me, we went out to New York to take care of some business. The result of that is, that we found an apartment in lovely Secaucus, NJ. Hence the title. Anyway, we didn't really wanna live right downtown, and looked in Westchester County, NY as well, but the prices there are higher and the commute is longer. Go figure. There is also a skatepark in Secaucus. We can see bits of the skyline from our living room window and it takes between 20 to 30 minutes to get to the city by bus, depending on traffic.
We also kinda felt that fate led us to Secaucus, and we're big into going with what life throws at us. The hotel we stayed in to go to NYC before, and this time as well, is in Secaucus, and we just had a look around there and asked about prices and availability of apartments, and there was one where the landlords were looking for people just like us, and had been looking for several months now. We didn't see another apartment that was as nice, and so we decided on it. And then of course we spot the skatepark. Okay, this all getting horribly boring right now. How about some reader involvement. Each one of you gets to ask one (1) question about our new apartment or the town it's in. If you ask a question you will also have to offer some tidbit of information about New Jersey, either true or made up. Like "New Jersey has the largest number of millionaires of any state in the US" or "74% of all food served in New Jersey is made from post-consumer materials".
